EMSTAT is the new mechanism developed by DHH to report the status of critical healthcare facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes during an emergency.

The system can collect near-real time information including not only facility status data but also data about census and patient status. This Webinar provides a great opportunity to learn EMSTAT basics including:

■ How to report an emergency event
■ What you should do before, during and after an emergency event
■ What are the essential components of an emergency preparedness plan

You will also have the opportunity to ask questions before you are faced with a hurricane or other emergency.
